Perfectly balanced sweet and sour cocktail.
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 measures | Bourbon |
| 3/4 measure | Cointreau Triple sec |
| 1/4 measure | Lemon juice |
Method
Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Cognac or Armagnac was often used instead of brandy in the original recipe.
